Ghettoblaster raves about J Hacha De Zola's latest

ALBUM REVIEW

Ghettoblaster Magazine raves: “Hanging off the fringes of no particular genre it seems, is J Hacha De Zola. The NY/NJ resident just released his fourth album Icaro Nouveau (Caballo Negro) which falls so far out of the box, for good or bad, there’s no one around left to hit him with any sort of healthy competition.” Read the entire review here.

J Hacha De Zola's fourth album is out today

ALBUM STREAM

J Hacha De Zola's fourth album is out today. Stereo Embers Magazine says: "A dark and swinging blend of jagged jazz, back alley blues and deliciously demented carnival stomp, the album furthers the case that De Zola might very well be one of the most important and singular artists making music today. Bringing to mind Tom Waits, Captain Beefheart and Eugene Chadbourne, De Zola is part streetwise snake charmer and part unholy undertaker."

J Hacha De Zola drops "Super Squeaky" video at Pancakes and Whiskey

PREMIERE

New video from J Hacha De Zola, out today. "We could throw comparisons out to other artists/bands/genres around at this point, but firmly believe J Hacha De Zola sits at his own, most likely oddly shaped table," says Pancakes and Whiskey. "Starting and finishing with a wallowing saxophone and wavering guitars 'Super Squeaky' has a disjointed, yet sneaky and bluesy backbeat that snakes around the emotional vocals and storytelling." New album Icaro Nouveau out this Friday.
